Fr. Robert Elias, you are spot on! The human experience of mercy is just not prevalent enough in our day to day living, but if we return to the Healer and let Him heal us of our roundedness and brokenness caused by the unlovingness of parents, spouses, co-workers, etc…then and only then can we begin again, a true follower of Christ and able to truly trust in His mercy.
